A site visit/assessment <br /> checklist is attached to this report as Appendix D. <br /> L The subject property consists of approximately 60 acres occupied by a farm residence,detached garage, <br /> shop, open-sided bam, grape vineyard, walnut orchard and related roads. Jahant Road defines the <br /> northern boundary of the subject property. Hacienda Drive and vacant lots associated with that road <br /> defines the west boundary of the property A private road and associated private residences define the <br /> eastern boundary. Agricultural fields are located to the south of the property. Irrigation water is <br /> delivered to the fields by means of an agricultural well and pump near the center of the property. <br /> LChemical weed kill was observed along the edges of all roads on the subject property. <br /> Three pole-mounted transformers were observed at two locations (at Jahant Road and at the ag well.) <br /> L No leaks or staining was observed. Less than one-tenth cubic yard of debris was observed on the west <br /> border of the subject property during the site visit <br /> 1 <br /> V <br /> 3.2 Past On-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> No above-or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from <br /> past uses of the site,except for the following: <br /> V <br /> ♦ A variety of agricultural chemicals have been applied to portions of the subject property as late <br /> Las 2003,including those described in Section 3.1.5 of this report. <br /> ♦ A natural gas well was located near the west boundary of the subject property;it was abandoned <br /> L <br /> in 1972. <br /> L3.3 Current On-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> No above-or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from <br /> current uses of the site,except the following: <br /> L <br /> ♦ The remnants of a waste pile located at the southwest comer of the vineyard is a cause for <br /> Lconcern. <br /> L <br /> L 01 <br /> L <br />
