L LMay 22,2006 NOA Project Number: E06048A This map is included in Appendix C of this report. 2.4 Interviews L An attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the subject property L from the property owner or key site manager of the property. An Environmental Questionnaire and Disclosure Statement was completed by Rosario Costilla, owner of the subject property, on April 28, 2006. A copy of her responses has been included in this report as Appendix E. LIn her responses to the questionnaire, Ms. Costilla indicated that she purchased the property in 1984 from Jamie La Borde. To the best of her knowledge,the property has been used for a residence,and parking trucks. Ms.Costilla indicated that she is aware of an underground storage tank,approximately L500 gallons,which is empty and no longer being used. She is not aware of any leaks or spills released on the subject property. LMr.Sam Hinojoa,the property owners son,was interviewed on May 2,2006 at the time of the site visit. He indicated that the gas pump was already installed when they moved there in 1973.They used the gas Lpump to fill up their vehicles. 3.0 PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF CONTAMINATION L3.1 Research Methods NCA employs a standard practice for review of database information. On a street map showing the i` location of the subject property,a circle is drawn one-quarter mile out from the property boundaries, and street maps or web-based mapping services are then used to determine address ranges for all streets i within the quarter mile. All agency databases searchable by address are then searched for these address L ranges. 3.1.1 Regional[Eater Quality Control Board NOA reviewed the Leaking Underground Storage Tanks (LUST) list (April 2006), the Water Purveyors Quarterly Report on MTBE (April 2006), and the Spills, Leaks, Invesligationr, and Cleanups (SI dC) list (I" Quarter 2005) on file with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)°in an attempt to determine if there are any files present at that agency which note the unauthorized release of a toxic or hazardous agent into the environment on the subject property or within a one-quarter mile radius of the subject property. The subject property was not listed on any of these databases. No listed sites within one-quarter mile of the subject property were found on the SLIC list.
