L <br /> LMay 22,2006 <br /> NOA Project Number: E06048A <br /> 2.2 Aerial Photographs <br /> L Aerial photographs depicting the subject property dated 1937,1952,1963,1975 and 1983 were reviewed <br /> at the San Joaquin County Surveyor's Office in Stockton, California.' One additional photo, dated <br /> 2002,was obtained from Microsoft Terraserver.' <br /> LIn the 1937 photo, the subject property appears to be part of a larger an open field. Surrounding <br /> properties are agricultural and grazing land with scattered residences. <br /> LIn the 1952 photo,a residence and other structures are located on the subject property. The southern <br /> half of the property contains rows of trees. Additional residences are in the immediate vicinity. The <br /> surrounding properties have additional residences and open land. <br /> In the 1963 photo, the subject property appears to be similar to the pervious photo. A housing <br /> development is located to the west of Mariposa Road, and additional residences surround the subject <br /> property. <br /> In the 1975 photo,the size and quality of the photo makes it difficult to notice changes on the property. <br /> LThe subject property and immediate vicinity appear relatively unchanged from the previous photo. <br /> L In the 1983 photo, fewer trees are located on the subject property. The subject property and its <br /> immediate vicinity otherwise remain relatively unchanged from the previous photo. <br /> L In the 2002 photo,the subject property and its immediate vicinity remain relatively unchanged from the <br /> previous photo. <br /> L These photos are included in Appendix C of this report. NOA's ability to interpret the land uses is <br /> limited by the scale and quality of the photos. <br /> 2.3 USGS Topographic Maps <br /> The topographic quadrangle depicting the subject property is the U.S.Geological Survey,Stockton East, <br /> California,quadrangle map. One 7.5-minute map dated 1968 photorevised 1987 was available through <br /> Microsoft Terraserver. <br /> In the topographic map,the subject property is depicted as open land and located at approximately 25 <br /> feet above mean sea level. One structure is depicted on the subject property. Surrounding properties <br /> are depicted as open land with structures along the roads.
