g. LIGHTING: Lighting shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> (1) If the parking area is to be used at night, parking lot and security lighting shall be installed. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[g]) <br /> (2) Any lighting shall be designed to confine direct rays to the premises. No spillover beyond the <br /> property lines shall be permitted except onto public thoroughfares,provided, however,that such <br /> light shall not cause a hazard to motorists. (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[g][4]) <br /> h. UNIFORM BUILDING CODE: The following Uniform Building Code and San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before <br /> submittal to the Building Inspection Division: <br /> (1) The design of the buildings shall be by a licensed architect or civil engineer. <br /> (2) Provide restrooms conforming with all disabled access requirements (C.C.R, Title 24 and <br /> Uniform Building Code, Chapter4). <br /> i. UNIFORM FIRE CODE: The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance Code <br /> requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before submittal <br /> to the Community Development Departmentfor a building permit. <br /> (1) Fire flow and hydrants will be provided for the proposed project by the use of <br /> A. Appendix III-A and III-B of the California Fire Code. <br /> B. NFPA 1231 of the National Fire Code. <br /> (2) Fire sprinkler systems shall be installed according to Article 10 of the California Fire Code and <br /> the appropriate standards and guides adopted in Chapter 35 of the California Building Code and <br /> California Electrical Code. <br /> (3) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with Section 902.2 of the California Fire <br /> Code and the standards adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association. <br /> (4) Key Boxes:A Knox box shall be installed according to the local fire department's instructions. <br /> (5) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, Standard 10-1, of <br /> Volume 2. <br /> (6) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to life or <br /> property(C.F.C., Section 105.2.1). <br /> 2.
