Reflective materials are <br /> not permitted to be used in structures or signs (excluding traffic directing signs), <br /> a Sourccs of dust, steam, or smoke which may impair pilot visibility; <br /> o Sources of electrical interference with aircraft communications or navigation. No transmissions <br /> which rvould interfere with aircraft radio communications or navigational signals are permitted. <br /> o Any proposed use, especially landfills and certain agricultural uses, that creates an increased <br /> attraction for large flocks of birds. <br /> ?. Occupied structures must be soundproofed to reduce interior noise to 45dB according to State <br /> Guidelines. <br /> 3. Within the AIA, ALUC review is required for any proposed object taller than 100 feet AGL. <br /> 4. Regardless of location within San Joaquin County, any proposal for construction or alteration of a <br /> Structure (including antennas) taller than 200 feet above the ground level at the site. Such structures <br /> also require notification to the Federal Aviation Administration in accordance with Code of Federal <br /> Regulations. Part 77, Paragraph 77.13(a)(1). <br /> 5. Deed Notice Requirement <br /> For new residential development within any airport's influence area (AIA), deed notices are required per <br /> the California Civil Code as well as the San Joaquin County's Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan. <br /> These notices are a form of buyer awareness measure whose objective is to ensure that prospective <br /> buyers of airport area property, particularly residential property, are informed about the airport's impact <br /> on the property. A statement similar to the following should be included on the deed for any real <br /> property subject to the deed notice requirements set forth in the San Joaquin County Airport Land Use <br /> Compatibility Plan. Such notice should be recorded by the county of San Joaquin. Also. this deed notice <br /> should be included on any parcel map, tentative map, or final map for subdivision approval. <br /> Sample Deed Notice - The San Joaquin ("ounly .Airport Land Use Commission Airport Land Use <br /> Compatibility Plan identifies the [-Insert Airport na»rnJ Airport Influence Area. Properties within this <br /> area erre routinely subject to overflights by aircraft using this public-apse airport and as a result, <br /> residents nay experience inconvenience, annoyance, or discomfort arising from the noise of' such <br /> operations. Stale lcnv (Puhlic Utilities Code Section 21670 et seq.} establishes the importance of public- <br /> use airports to protection of the public interest of the people of the .state of California, Residents of <br /> property near such airports .should therefore be prepared to accept the inconvenience, annoyance, or <br /> discomfort Ji-om normal aircraft operations.
