Recommendations
Action
It is recommended that the Planning Commission:
1. Approve the Negative Declaration; and
2. Forward Zone Reclassification Application No. ZR-98.4 to the Board of Supervisors with a
recommendation for approval contingent upon the ability to make the required "Bases for
Zone Reclassification."
Bases for Zone Reclassification
1. The proposed zone district is consistent with the General Plan, the Mountain House Master Plan,
and the Mountain House Specific Plan I.
This determination can be made for the proposed Zone Reclassification because
the Public Facilities (P-F ) zone is a consistent implementing zone for the Public
land use designation (P) shown on the Master Plan and General Plan maps.
2. The proposed zone district is reasonable and beneficial at this time.
This determination can be made because the Zone Reclassification facilitates site
acquisition and development of the approved Water Treatment Plant, as specified
in the text and maps of the Master Plan and Specific Plan I.
San Joaquin County ZR-98-4\Trimark
Community Development Page 7
