INTRODUCTION <br /> This study was prepared to satisfy the requirements of Minor <br /> Subdivision Application MS-92-131 . <br /> The property is located on the East side of Kennefick Road , <br /> midway between Peltier and Acampo Roads. <br /> This study includes the same land as investigated for soils <br /> suitability for minor subdivision MS-90-92. Extensive use <br /> of data from the previous study has been used . <br /> PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> The minor subdivision creates three additional homesites for <br /> the farmers children . No further development is proposed . <br /> See Exhibit 1 <br /> PRESENT AND PAST USES OF THE SITE <br /> Except for the buildings shown on Exhibit 1 , the land is in <br /> vineyard and has been so for decades . <br /> EXISTING AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USE <br /> When the Teresi ' s remodeled their house in 1968, they <br /> installed a new 1400 gallon septic tank , leach lines and a <br /> dry well . An additional dry well was added because one was <br /> not sufficient for a family of six . <br /> Within a half mile radius of the Teresi residence there are <br /> only seven other residences . The majority of the owners , or <br /> past owners , were interviewed and the results were as <br /> follows: <br /> 1 . Parcel No. 017-050-08 <br /> Past Owner : Herbert Buck , Jr . <br /> Location : 1000 feet South of Teresi <br /> Age of House: Built prior to 1910 <br /> Septic System: Functional for over 50 years . New <br /> system was installed in 1971 and has had no problems . <br /> 2. Parcel No. 017-050-05 <br /> Owner : Mrs. Ronald Lauchland <br /> Location : 800 feet North of Teresi <br /> Age of House: Built approximately 1910 <br /> Septic System: Age and extent of system unknown . <br /> Owner reports minor problems , but could not say if the <br /> problem was in the tank or leach field . Also would not <br /> specify problem. <br />
