South of the cattle staging area <br /> there is the foundation of a currently nonexistent building where firewood is now stored. In the <br /> southeastern comer of the "house compound" there is an outbuilding that is in disrepair. This <br /> outbuilding is an old pump house. <br /> L There was one transformer observed on the property; it services the house. The well that was <br /> observed in the pasture land looks to be out of service at this time. (see Figure 14). In Figure 13, the composting facility is seen in the background. In the <br /> foreground of this picture,a portion of the area that once was the pond was apparent. This pond was <br /> referenced in Section V, Sub-Sections A and B of this report regarding the historical topographic <br /> maps review and the historical aerial photograph review. <br /> NOA personnel did not observe any indications of recognized environmental conditions. <br /> VIII. FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS <br /> There was one transformer observed on the property, it services the residence on the subject <br /> property. The transformer is owned by PG&E which has a policy in place that states their company <br /> would remediate any and all releases of oils that could contain PCBs. <br /> XI. RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> NOA recommends that the owner of the pole mounted transformers be contacted and a request made <br /> -. that they be inspected for "age related" weaknesses, leaks, etc. <br /> r <br /> 11 <br />
