Goehring Property Page 5 of 10
Our Project Number: E07182A
November 30, 2007
5.1 Soil Boring Locations
Several borings were advanced on the site on both November 15, 2007 and December 3, 2007.
Please see Table 6 for the boring summary and the attached site map (Plate 1) for details
regarding dimensions and locations of the test borings.
5.2 Soil Boring Dimensions
The soil borings were various depths, as noted above, and were four (4) inches in diameter.
Please see Table 6 for the summary of the various percolation test holes.
5.3 Soil Lithology Observed
Generally, the soil encountered in the boring is similar to the soils reported by the San Joaquin
County Soil Survey for the area (USDA, 1992). The tables below presents the soil log for the soil
borings. Conditions were comparable in the shallower holes.
Table 3.
Soil Boring Log Parcel 1.
Depth Interval (ft) Soil Type Unified Soil Classification
0-4' Brown silty clay CL
4-25' Brown clay with some silt CL
Table 4.
Soil Boring Log Parcel 2.
Depth Interval (ft) Soil Type Unified Soil Classification
0-4' Brown sandy silt with some gravel SM
Table S.
Soil Boring Log Parcel 3.
Depth Interval (ft) Soil Type Unified Soil Classification
0-1.5' Brown silty clay CL
1.5-5' Tan sandy silt with some clay SM
5-8' Brown clayey sand SC
8' Gravel GC
Auger refusal
Vr. 902 Industrial Way•Lodi,CA 95240•209.367.3701 •Fax 209.369.4228 02007 Neil O.Anderson&Associates,Inc
