Den Hartog Property Page 8 of 10
Our Project Number: LES080S21
May 5, 2008
✓3.3 Current On-Site Sources of Contamination
No above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified
from current uses of the site, except for the following:
• Agricultural chemicals continue to be applied on the property.
• Some surface staining evident at the northeast well.
✓3.4 Past Off-Site Sources of Contamination
No above- or below-ground off-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified
from past uses of the surrounding properties, except for the following:
y Surrounding properties have been used for agriculture in the past; agricultural chemicals
may have been applied to these properties.
/3.5 Current Off-Site Sources of Contamination
No above- or below-ground off-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified
from current uses of the surrounding properties, except for the following:
• Surrounding properties are used for agriculture; agricultural chemicals may be applied to
these properties.
X4.0 EVALUATION OF IDENTIFIED CONTAMINATION SOURCES
Agricultural chemical residues may remain on the property. No evidence was found, however,
to indicate that the chemicals were applied inappropriately.
Structures built prior to the 1980's may contain asbestos and/or lead paint however; no debris
was identified during the site visit.
Confinement of animals within small areas may lead to an arrumi lation of nitrogen compounds
within Sohl. which then have the patential to leach to groundwater. _
Oil and gas well drilling may cause petroleum contamination to the vicinity of drilled wells or
along pipe lines.
If water wells are not properly operated and maintained, they can serve as contamination
conduits to groundwater. In this case, there is no evidence to suggest that wells may be
contaminant pathways on the subject property or vicinity.
'.444
902 Industrial Way•Lodi,CA 95240•209.367.3701 •Fax 209.369.4228 ©2008 Neil O.Anderson&Associates,Inc.
