NOA's ability to interpret the land use <br /> is limited by the scale and quality of the photos. <br /> X3.3 United States Geologic Survey Topographic Maps <br /> The topographic quadrangle depicting the subject property is the U.S. Geological Survey, <br /> Thornton, California, quadrangle map. One 7.5-minute map dated 1978, was obtained from <br /> Microsoft Terraserver. <br /> In the 1978 map, the subject property is depicted as open land with three structures. Canals <br /> are depicted on the property along the east, south and west borders. An additional canal and <br /> water storage area are indicated at the center of the property. An aqueduct is depicted on the <br /> property at the northwest corner and Kile Road is indicated north of the property. The property <br /> is depicted approximately ten to fifteen feet above mean sea level. Surrounding properties are <br /> depicted as open land with waterways some with vineyards. The Western Pacific Railroad is <br /> depicted adjacent to the property along the west border. <br /> This map is included in Appendix C of this report. <br /> x/2.4 Interviews <br /> An attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the subject <br /> property from the property owner or key site manager of the property. An Environmental <br /> Questionnaire and Disclosure Statement were completed on April 29, 2008 by Pieter den <br /> Hartog, President of DHV, LLC and owner of the subject property. A copy of the responses has <br /> been included in this report as Appendix D. <br /> In responses to the questionnaire, Mr. den Hartog indicated the property is used for vineyards <br /> and will continue to be used for farming grapes. He was not aware of any title reports, <br /> environmental reports, environmental liens, land use limitations, or governmental notifications <br /> prepared for the property or for facilities located on the property. He did not have any <br /> specialized knowledge or experience relating to environmental conditions on the property. Mr. <br /> den Hartog indicated he is the current property owner. He also indicated the pmpedy-1L_ <br /> been used fora dairy in h oact._There_are.no_oth_er_businesses using_the�roperty. <br /> Mr. den Hartog indicated to the best of his knowledge there has not been a gasoline station, <br /> motor repair facility, commercial printing facility, dry cleaner, photo developing laboratory, <br /> junkyard, landfill, waste treatment, storage, disposal, processing or recycling facility located on <br /> the property or the adjacent properties.
