Den Hartog Property Page 4 of 10 Our Project Number: LES080521 May 5, 2008 Mr. den Hartog indicated water is provided to the property by well and a waste water system is not applicable to the property. He also indicated that wastewaters are not generated on the property nor are there any other types of liquid wastes, solid wastes or air pollutants generated on the property. Mr. den Hartog indicated there are no structures currently on the property and indicated structures have been removed from the property in the past. He was not aware of any staining, asbestos or lead based paint applied to or tested for the removed structures. He indicated to the best of his knowledge there are no storage tanks and other chemical storage on the property currently or in the past. He was not aware of any spills, leaks or chemical releases on the property. Mr. den Hartog indicated the property is and has been used for agricultural purposes. He indicated pesticides have been applied to the property but have not been mixed, rinsed, disposed or formulated on the property. He was not aware of soil or groundwater analysis performed on the property to detect chemicals. ✓3.0 PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF CONTAMINATION 3.1 Research Methods NOA employs a standard practice for review of database information. On a street map showing the location of the subject property, a circle is drawn one-quarter mile out from the property boundaries, and street maps or web-based mapping services are then used to determine address ranges for all streets within the quarter mile. All agency databases searchable by address are then searched for these address ranges. 3.1.1 Regional Water Quality Control Board NOA reviewed the Leaking Underground Storage Tanks (LUST) list (April 2008), the Water Purveyors Quarterly Report on MTBE (April 2008), and the Spills, Leaks, Investigations, and Cleanups (SLIC) list (1s� Quarter 2005) on file with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB)4 in an attempt to determine if there are any files present at that agency which note the unauthorized release of a toxic or hazardous agent into the environment on the subject property or within a one-quarter mile radius of the subject property. The subject property was not listed on any of these databases, and no addresses within one-quarter mile of the subject property were found on the databases. ,13:1.2 San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department According to Diane Martiners of the EHD, no files were available for the subject property address of 6686 Kile Rd. The Underground Storage Tank Site Mitigation List, dated April 3, 2006 and the LOP/Non-LOP Sites list, not dated, were reviewed at the EHD on April 28, 2008.
