Truck loading frequency on an hourly basis was estimated by reviewing current hourly truck count
information collected in May 2004 on Bird Road south of SR-132 and on recent information provided by
individual quarry operators. Truck loading frequency information provided by individual quarry
operators represented their best estimate of what their individual loading frequency would be by hour of a
typical day. The estimated year 2007 daily truck loading frequencies are shown in Table 12. The AM
and PM peak hours were previously identified to include 6:00 to 7:00 a.m. (AM peak hour) and 4:00 to
5:00 p.m. (PM peak hour). As shown in Table 12,these two hours would have 250 and 60 two-way truck
►w trips respectively that would be entering and exiting SR-132.
- TABLE 12
VERNALIS AREA AGGREGATE PRODUCTION SITES
YEAR 2007 BASE HOURLY TRUCK LOADING FREQUENCIES AND
ESTIMATED HOURLY TRUCK GENERATION
AM PERIOD
Daily 12:00 1:00 2:00 3:00 4:00 5:00
Total 2-W ay 1:00 2:00 3:00 4:00 5:00 6:00
2,509 1 7 6 6 20 61 153
y % of Daily 1 0.3% 0.2% 0.2% 0.8% 2.4% 6.1%
AM PERIOD
Daily 6:00 7:00 8:00 9:00 10:00 11:00
Total 2-W ay 7:00 8:00 9:00 10:00 11:00 12:00
■,.
2,508 250 252 242 229 236 195
% of Daily 10.0% 10.0% 9.7% 9.1% 9.4% 7.8%
PM PERIOD
Daily 12:00 1:00 2:00 3:00 4:00 5:00
.
