Specifically, the site is located southeast of the intersection of <br /> 13lewett and Koster Roads, The Department has the following comments for the Revised <br /> TTS (3-27-08): — <br /> Traffic Operations does not support haul Route 3, because of the following traffic safety <br /> concerns, <br /> SR 33/Welty Road Intersection; Welty Road is a narrow two-lane county road without <br /> shoulders. Welty Road intersects SR 33 at a skew angle with stop sign control. Sight - <br /> distance can be obstructed on the south side by utility poles. There is a railroad (RR) <br /> track crossing that is approximately 60-70 feet from the stop limit line on Welty Road, <br /> Trucks can back up behind the stop sign waiting to enter SR 33 to where they may block <br /> the RR crossing. There is a potential for rear end collisions with fully loaded trucks <br /> turning onto northbound SR 33 and merging into traffic due to the lack of an acceleration _ <br /> lane and the difference in speed, SR 33/Welty Road may need to be widened to increase <br /> taming radius for truck off tracking. <br /> "Cnl/ranf impravv mobi7ffy aarosa Cnitjania" <br />
