LASER's concerns expressed in its _ <br /> comment letters on the draft EIR have been resolved by the following six commitments that <br /> LASER has received from CEMEX: <br /> 1. CEMEX will either utilize new on-site machinery equipped with the best available <br /> DPM control technology, retrofit existing machinery with the technology where <br /> feasible, or comply with alternative measures developed by the Air Board; _ <br /> 2. CEMEX will minimize idling time of equipment; <br /> 3. CEMEX will limit the hours of heavy duty equipment and/or the amount of equipment <br /> in use; <br /> 4. CEMEX will investigate the feasibility of utilizing biofuel and biodiesel equipment; <br /> 5. CEMEX will reduce construction time during periods of high ambient pollutant <br /> concentrations.
