CHAPTER 5 <br /> Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program <br /> 5.1 Requirement <br /> CEQA states that when mitigation measures are required to reduce or avoid a potentially <br /> V significant impact,a program for monitoring or reporting those measures shall be adopted by the <br /> Lead Agency (CEQA Guidelines 15097). The purpose of the mitigation monitoring and reporting <br /> program (MMRP)is to ensure timely compliance with required mitigation measures. <br /> 5.2 Mitigation and Monitoring Reporting Program <br /> Table 5-1 lists the recommended mitigation measures,the person(s) responsible for monitoring <br /> compliance, and when monitoring will occur.
