Productivity goals shall be established on the basis of crop productivity of adjacent <br /> lands currently under agricultural production. <br /> A soil sample analysis from an independent laboratory shall be submitted for two- <br /> foot and four-foot depths (five random sample locations per 100 acres) of reclaimed <br /> soil. The analysis shall demonstrate that a minimum of 85 percent of the soil <br /> samples meet the specifications of the Soil Reconstruction Plan. <br /> x. CULTURAL RESOURCES: The excavator shall cease all construction and i <br /> excavation work immediately upon the discovery of cultural resource material. <br /> Such work shall cease until the excavator has complied with the requirements of <br /> Appendix K of the CEQA Guidelines. <br /> y. INDEMNIFICATION: The owner shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the <br /> local agency or its agent and employees from any claim, action or proceeding <br /> against the local agency or its agents, officers, or employees to attach, set aside, <br /> void, or annul an approval of the local agency, advisory agency, appeal board, or ! <br /> legislative body concerning this Quarry Excavation permit. <br /> I <br /> z. SEDIMENTATION POND DIKE DESIGN: A registered engineer shall design the <br /> proposed sedimentation pond dike. The design of the dike shall be reviewed and <br /> approved by an independent engineering or geo-technical firm selected by the <br /> Community Development Department. Said review shall be at the expense of the <br /> applicant.
