MITIGATION MONITORING PROGRAM: The following mitigation measures shall be monitored on an annual basis as provided for in the mitigation monitoring program for QX-96-1 (Attachment A): (1) Aggregate stockpile locations shall be maintained at their current positions as those stockpiles provide partial shielding of processing area noise to the nearest residences to the east and south. (2) Early morn ing/nig httime mining activities within 600 feet of any residence shall not occur unless that equipment is recessed at least 40 feet within the pit so as to be substantially shielded from that residence. (3) Overburden removal or initial mining activities within 600 feet from the existing residences for which the mining equipment is not recessed in the pit shall be limited to the hours a.Fn. to f 5:00 a.m. and 9:00 .m. (4) Front-loaders and other equipment which routinely utilize back-up beepers which will operate at night shall be retrofitted with either volume controls (set to the minimum levels required for safety), strobe lights, or radar-based back- up beepers. i. WEED CONTROL: If noxious weeds are on the site, operations shall be in accordance with instructions from the Agricultural Commissioner of San Joaquin County. (Development Title Section 9-1415.3[h])
