Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, CA 95205
RE: 1) City of Tracy will serve letter for 11515 W. Larch Road Tracy, California
Dated August 30, 2004
2) City of Tracy will serve letter for 11299 Woad Tracy, California dated C00 j S(O
March 3, 2005 10 . .
Dear Ms. Sullivan:
As you are aware, the referenced will serve letters were issued by the City of Tracy with the
assumption that the City of Tracy will construct the sewer line in the Larch Clover area with
combination of funding from Assessment District, a portion of County CDBG funds and State
Revolving Fund (SRF). Since the status of SRF is not clear at this time, the construction of the
sewer line cannot occur until the project is fully funded.
Due to the uncertainty of funding, status of the above will serve letters was sent to the
applicants with copies to San Joaquin County. The City cannot serve these properties for sewer
collection and treatment until the sewer line in question is completed. Copies of these letters
are attached for your reference.
With regard to the water service, it was anticipated that the properties will be annexed into the
City and as a result, the City will be able to provide services (1 ECU per property) by treating
Larch Clover area as City's infill. However, with rejection of annexation; water service issue
becomes part of the existing water service agreement between the City and San Joaquin
County, which allows the City to service the limited properties included in the agreement for
their existing uses. In order to serve new properties, the agreement may need to be further
amended depending upon availability of City water and its ability to serve any new
developments including establishing of water connection fee
Please feel free to call me at 831-4432 if you have any questions or need further information.
Sincerely,
Kul Sharma
City Engineer
Attachments
cc: Zane Johnston, Interim City Manager
Bill Reeds, Director DES
Cris Mina, Senior Engineer
Allan Bell, Senior Planner
