The site is
located within Section 11, Township 2 South, Range 9 East, Mount
Diablo Base and Meridian. This property and the surrounding area
are zoned AG-40 (Agricultural) . The topography of this location is
very flat with a gradient of approximately 0. 005, sloping west to
east. There are no waterways or drainage channels crossing the
property.
The topographic soils map prepared by the University of
California, Berkeley, indicates the site is largely covered by
Madera sandy loam. For several years, the subject property has
been planted to almonds. The latest San Joaquin County Water
Conservation District Maps reveal that the standing water level of
the subject site to be at a depth of approximately sixty-five (651 )
feet. This relates to a groundwater elevation of approximately
seventy-five (751 ) feet.
Attached is a copy of percolation tests performed on April 10,
1991, by R. W. Siegfried & Associates, Consulting Civil Engineers.
Both test holes reveal that the surface soils are underlain by
Madera sandy loam soil at a depth of approximately three (31 ) feet.
The observed percolation rates are 13 . 9 and 22 . 7 minutes per inch
for Test Holes 1 and 2 , respectively.
(Cont'd. )
C--ILU11-T6713.SO
MAIN OFFICE 4045 CORONADO AVENUE STOCKTON,CALIFORNIA 95204-2396 Telephone(209)943-2021 FAX Telephone(209)942-0214
TRACY BRANCH OFFICE 3120 TRACY BOULEVARD,SUITE D TRACY,CALIFORNIA 95376-1719 Telephone(209)6355300
