Rausser Property Page 7 of 14
Our Project Number: E07121A
August 8, 2007
3.5 Septic System Permit History in the Vicinity
The septic systems in the area appear to be for the installation of leach lines and
seepage pits.
3.6 Septic System Repair Permit History in the Vicinity
The septic system repairs in the area generally appear to be for the addition of leach
lines and seepage pits.
3.7 Expected On-Site Maximum Septic Tank Usage
Maximum expected usage on each proposed parcel would be for a primary residence
and secondary dwelling unit. Septic system design should be based on the On-Site
Wastewater Disposal Standards or other engineering recommendations.
4.0 GROUND WATER INFORMATION
4.1 Ground Water Depth and Gradient
The San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (1998 and 1999)
ground water depth and elevation maps were reviewed to determine the ground water
levels near the Site. The Fall 1998 and Spring 1999 maps are the most current official
maps available from the County. According to these maps (Plates 3-6), ground water
lies between 130 and 140 feet below ground surface and flows at a gradient of about
10 feet per mile to the northwest in the vicinity of the site.
No ground water was encountered by the staff of Neil O. Anderson & Associates, Inc.
during the drilling of percolation test holes to a depth of approximately three feet on
July 19, 2007,
4.2 Potential Ground Water Contamination Issues
Identifying potential ground-water contamination sources was not part of the scope of
work for the soil suitability study. Potential ground-water contamination can occur from
a number of sources which often include leaky underground storage tanks, agricultural
activities, dairies, septic systems, and storm water infiltration. Agricultural activities,
dairies and the use of septic systems in the area should be considered potential ground-
water contamination sources.
902 Industrial Way•Lodi,CA 95240•209367.3701 •Fax 209.369.4228 02007 Neil O.Anderson&Associates,Inc.
