PA-02-55 Soil Suitability-o dy
Parcel 3, Liberty Road:
• The reference to MS-01-43 refers to subdivision on Atkins Road, not on Liberty Road.
• Replacement area for the septic system shall be designated by a California state approved,
licensed Engineer, not the homeowner.
• Parcel 3 percolation test results show a.01-drop in the last half hour of the test. Your rate
shows 333 minutes per inch. We believe it should be 250 minutes per inch.
Parcel 4, Liberty Road:
• Page 1 shows three additional percolation tests were performed, but page 2 shows only two
additional tests and only two tests are shown on data sheet.
Environmental Health Department is requiring an addendum of the Soil Suitability Study
incorporating corrected Site Plan/Septic Plan for each parcel. We are also requiring that all
leach-fields be doubled to allow a safety factor for this soil that does not meet minimum
percolation rates.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact Mike Huggins, of my staff at
(209)468-3437.
Donna Heran, R.E.H.S., Director
AV
Mike Huggins, Supervising R.E.H.S., R.D.I.
Environmental Health Department
MH/cf
