Advanced
GeoEnvironmental, Inc . - -
17 February 2015
AGE Project No. 14-3062
Tahoe Group, Inc.
Ms. Maggie Dooley
1919 Grand Canal Boulevard
Stockton, California 95207
Subject: Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report Addendum
TAHOE - LILLIAN
420 North Lillian Avenue, Stockton, California
Dear Ms. Dooley:
At your request and at the direction of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department (SJCEHD), Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared this
Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report Addendum for the property located at
420 North Lillian Avenue, Stockton, identified as San Joaquin County Assessor's Parcel
Number (APN) 143-360-15 (subject site). This addendum was prepared to update any
additional information obtained or changes in site characteristics that may have
occurred since the Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report was prepared.
On 04 February 2015, AGE and SJCEHD personnel met at the subject site, to inspect
the potential location of a septic tank/system located just northeast of the northern
residence (444 North Lillian Avenue . n the Surface and Subsurface Contamination
Report, AGE stated that the location was the potential site of the septic tank/system
permitted for 444 North Lillian Avenue. The location contained an approximately_8-inch
diameter transite concrete pipe extending from the surface. Additionally, approximately
four feet below surface grade (bsg) inside the smaller diameter concrete pipe, was
another concrete-like pipe, transecting the center of the vertical concrete pipe. A tape
measure was inserted into the vertical concrete pipe, along one side of the transecting
pipe, and was extended approximately 30 feet with no obstructions. A water level meter
was inserted into the concrete pipe and extended over 100 feet; however, it was unclear
if the tape was extending into open space. Additionally, no water was detected in the
pipe with the water level meterr AGE did detect water at a depth of 56 feet bsg in the
known water well located on-site. It is unclear whether the concrete pipe is the location
of a septic tank/system, septic leach pit or additional water well (without standing water)
on the subject site property. Historical permits obtained from the SJCEHD indicate that
a septic tank/system was located in the area of the concrete pipe at the site; but also
indicate that the tank was upgraded/replaced and moved further east onto the subject
site.
837 Shaw Road• Stockton,CA 95215
Telephone(209)467-1006•Fax(209)467-1118
