Lincoln Road is part of an association, Lincoln Village Homes
Association#1. The Davis-Stirling Common Interest Development Act along with
Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions, Bylaws, Rules and Regulations and California
and Federal statues establish guidelines for managing associations.
The Davis-Stirling Act specifically addresses child care facilities in an association. Your
request for child care for 30 children is not in compliance with the Davis-Stirling Act.
The maximum number of children allowed in any care facility within an association is
14. We have enclosed a copy of these sections for your review.
In the event you are granted a permit for child care for 14 or fewer children, please
provide the association a copy of your liability insurance.
Furthermore, the lot is in need of maintenance. The lawn is tall and there are weeds in
the driveway. The garbage can is being left out in public view. It is your responsibility
to maintain your home and lot in a neat and attractive manner.
If you have any questions, please call me at (209) 957-6061, extension 445.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
Sincerely,
Andrea Brown
Association Manger
Lincoln Village Homes Association #1
Enclosures
cc San Joaquin County Community Development Department
1811 Grand Canal Blvd. Suite 5 • Stockton, CA 95207-8107 • Phone: 209-957-6061 Fax: 209-957-3371 • Email: scpm@gotnet.net
