Surface&Subsurface Contamination Report Page 15
700 W.Linne Rd.,Tracy
Project No. 662.1
February 11, 2013
Local resources were used to study available aerial photographs. The San Joaquin County
Department of Public Works, Survey Office located at 1810 East Hazelton Avenue was
contacted to provide copies of aerial photographs covering the Property with flights dating
back to 1937. Additional air photos were obtained from the San Joaquin County GIS system.
Selected photographs were copied to include in this report (Appendix Q.
EDR Sanborn was contacted to search for any available Sanborn fire insurance map that
might cover the Property. The company reported that no such maps are available for this part
of San Joaquin County. A letter to that effect is included in Appendix C.
The following gives a summary of the information gathered from the review of the aerial
photographs:
1937 Air Photo
Property
The west end of the Property is not shown in this photo, but the Property is in agricultural
use, apparently as pastureland. No buildings appear to be on the Property.
Adjacent
Adjacent lands also appear to be mostly in use as pasture. There are several nearby farm-
building complexes.
1952 Air Photo
Property
The land appears been converted to grow row or grain crops. A stream meander diagonally
across the Property, but it no longer exists. The building complex appears in this photo
although not entirely in its current configuration. Several small buildings are visible along
the south line of the Property that are not present today.
Adjacent
Several rural residential buildings are adjacent and nearby.
1963 Air Photo
Property
The eastern 1/3 of the Property does not appear in this photo. Property appears little changed
from 1952 except that some of the land appears to have been converted to vineyard. The
currently existing storm water ponds are visible for the first time. The farm-building
complex appears similar to what may be seen today.
Adjacent
Nearby parcels are generally similar to what is shown on the 1952 photo although adjacent
farm building complexes are more fully developed.
2937 Veneman Ave.,#11240 Geo-Phase Environmental Inc.
