Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> A. Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability study indicating that the area is <br /> suitable for septic tank and winery waste usage. This must be performed prior to issuance of a <br /> building permit(s) (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). A review fee <br /> of$186.00 must be paid at time of submittal to Environmental Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of septic <br /> tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal system is <br /> required for each parcel. A permit fee of$93.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> ✓ B. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane (DBCP) <br /> and nitrates prior to issuance of building permit(s). Samples are to be taken and analyzed by a <br /> State-approved laboratory (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.7). <br /> Z C. Obtain discharge requirements from the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, <br /> Central Valley Region, prior to development(Water Code, Article 5, Section 13280). <br /> NOTE: Should applicant desire to take winery waste to an approved wastewater treatment plant, <br /> than applicant shall provide the Environmental Health Department with a"Will-Serve" <br /> letter from the provider. <br /> D. State on revised site plans the maximum number of employees and customers the sewage <br /> disposal system is being designed for. In addition, show on revised plans that the leach field <br /> area will be barricaded so it cannot be driven over,parked on, or used as a storage area. This <br /> leach field area must be used for that specific purpose only, and it cannot contain any <br /> underground utility lines (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.4(c)(5)). In <br /> addition,the revised site plan shall incorporate the 100% designed sewage disposal replacement <br /> area. <br /> NOTE: The Environmental Health Department cannot support the proposed septic system for the <br /> winery within 10-feet of the existing residential septic system. Septic system repair area <br /> shall also be demonstrated for the residence on revised site plan. <br /> Page 1 of 2 D MR cf <br />
