ANDERSON ENVIRONMENTAL
A N D A S S O C I A T E S 1, INSPECTIONS a TESTING
LABORATORY SERVICES
POOL ENGINEERING
POST TENSION DESIGN
July 25, 2008
Our Project Number: LGS080529
Mr. Choya Steiger
Roland Construction
P.O. Box 8670
Stockton, CA 95208
Subject: Engineered Septic System Drawing
Cortopassi Olive Mill
10201 Live Oak Road
Lodi, California
Dear Steiger,
Per your request, our office has completed a drawing of the relocation of the septic
system on the subject property. We understand that the project involves adding
bathrooms to the existing olive processing facility. We were notified by Roland
Construction that the septic usage will remain the same and that additional bathrooms
were added for convenience purposes only. The new bathroom addition will divert
vehicular traffic over the existing septic system disposal field and tank. A replacement
drain field was required because vehicular traffic over the primary septic system is not
permitted in San Joaquin County.
It was your desire to relocate a new drain field to the area shown on the attached plan.
The existing septic tank will be reused and a simplex pump package utilizing Little Giant
Pump Company products proposed by Richard's Plumbing and Roland Construction will
be added. Roland Construction indicated that a structural slab will be designed and
placed over the existing septic tank since it is not traffic rated. Our office is not
designing the structural slab.
George with Richards Plumbing stated that he will set the float level so that the existing
septic system will take most of the wastewater and the pumping system will pump only
when tank use is relatively high. Since the existing septic system drain field will remain
attached, Rodney Estrada of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
will permit the use of a simplex pumping system when a duplex pumping system is
normally required.
ANGELS CAMP • LODI • MODESTO • RENO • SACRAMENTO • WALNUT CREEK
L 0 D 1 9021ndustial Way • Lodi,CA 95240 • 209.367.3701 • FAX 209-3694228 • www.noandersonxom
