INTRODUCTION
Reference is made to the Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report(SSCR) completed for the
above-referenced Project in June-2907. Ari Updat g nal SSCR is being conducted
because there were owner decision land communic:ati?n7i e that delay_gd the completion of this
project and the Application consequently became nt after the six-month time e. The
original SSCR stated that the project was to consist _ - wo ubdivision. It is.,a6w
anticipated that the subdivision will consist our proposed Parc he4entggve Map will be
produced by Schack& Company of Trac**,`California. The Soil Su' ility Study is scheduled to
begin after SSCR approval.
To conduct this Update, the following procedures were conducted: The subject property was first
walked and visually inspected. Secondly, GeoTracker public information records were reviewed for
any changes that may have occurred on or near the subject property since the date of the original
inspection on June 18, 2007, and the last inspection of September 9, 2008. The nearest Leaking
Underground Fuel Tanks (LUFTs) are one mile to the south of the subject property. It is extremely
unlikely these contamination sites could impact the property due to the distances involved.
Thirdly, Mr. Mike Rodoani, who farms the almond acreage property for the Haertl's, was
interviewed on September 9, 2008 for any additional information between the original SSCR and
this SSCR Update. Mr. Rodoani has detailed knowledge of what Verthe entire suit ec
rop=rty_on,a.eaz-round basis and conveyed that there have been no changes to the property in this
intervening time
_ f
The following was investigated or observed for this SSCR Update:
1. There waso ik
y drug manufacturing materials that may have been dumped on
the property, e "back"or to the north of the property. No records were
available indicating environmental contamination, and there were no observations made of
surface contamination to the subject property.
2. The Lone Tree Creek traverses the property in an east-to- direction. Th s ate was
inspected for any dumping or environmental contamina 'on. None was observed.
Stormwater from the defunct milk bam near the center of t
surrounding ahnond h he idential structure near the southwest corner of the
property also show d no evidence pumping or environmental contamination. The on-site
domestic and irriga ' 'lube tested for the Soil Suitability Study. The
aforementioned residential structur—ean on-site septic system.
3. Description of all past on-site and off-site potential and/or known above and below ground
sources of contamination identified in the area of the prd c su day impact the project
site includes information coveyed-in the initial SSCR. No changes hav been noted in this
document, and there hasiieen no change in Updated E4 Envisions,j rvdgrams Records.
Page -1-
Chesney Consulting
