Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> A. A soil suitability study/nitrate loading study for dairy/animal waste indicating that the area is <br /> suitable for the usage number of animals proposed must be performed prior to issuance of <br /> building permits as required by Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development <br /> Title. A nitrate loading study is required and a review fee of$465.00 must be paid at time of <br /> submittal to Environmental Health Department. Applicant needs to complete application by <br /> declaring how many cows, heifers, and calves are existing and proposed for this dairy site. <br /> B. The number of dairy animals per acre shall not exceed an amount, which would preclude <br /> good waste management practices. Applicant is to contact the Central Valley Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board regarding filing a Waste Management Report (to incorporate a <br /> Vector Control Plan) to be approved by Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board and the Environmental Health Department prior to final occupancy approval (Porter- <br /> Cologne Water Quality Control Act, Chapter 4, Article 4, Section 13260-13263). <br /> C. Submit three (3) sets of building plans for review and approval prior to issuance of building <br /> permits to the Environmental Health Department. Plans shall include the design of the entire <br /> dairy facility, including milking barn, corrals, free stall housing, shelter sheds, dry cow <br /> facilities, calf barns, and waste water ponds (California Food and Agricultural Code, <br /> Division 15, Chapter 5, Article 2, Section 33481-33487). A $465.00 plan check fee is <br /> required at the time of submittal. <br /> NOTE: Plans have been submitted and approved by the Environmental Health Department on <br /> July 7, 2005. <br /> D. Applicant shall prepare a detailed schematic showing all milking equipment(tank,pipeline, <br /> etc...) in milk-barn and milk-house prior to final occupancy approval by Environmental <br /> Health Department.
