J
L3.4 Existing Septic Tank Usage in the Vicinity
I In an attempt to determine the septic system density for the vicinity of the Site,our office reviewed
L a 1993 aerial photograph of the subject property available from Microsoft Teraserver. We counted
the building clusters within one square mile of the Site, and made the assumption that each building
duster has one septic system. Using this method,we determined that there are a minimum of 50
septic systems per square mile in the immediate vicinity of the Site. We assume in addition to 50
septic systems in 1993, there may have been additional growth.
}
V The general area consists of agriculture with fairly low residential development.
I
6.
3
v
L
