L LDecember 4, 2006 NOA Project Number: E06150A 2.3 USGS Topographic Maps The topographic quadrangle depicting the subject property is the U.S. Geological Survey, Escalon, California, quadrangle map. One 7.5 minute map dated 1991 was available through Microsoft Terraserver. In the 1991 map, the subject property is depicted as open land. Irrigation canals flow through the V property.The property is depicted as approximately 125 feet above mean sea level. Surrounding land is orchard and open land with scattered residences. ir. This map is included in Appendix C of this report. 2.4 Interviews 6. An attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the subject property from the property owner or key site manager of the property. An Environmental Questionnaire and L Disclosure Statement was completed by Roger Lang,owner of the subject property,on November 21, 2006. A copy of his responses has been included in this report as Appendix E. In his responses to the questionnaire,Mr. Lang indicated that he acquired the property in 1995. The current use of the property is pasture. He intends to split the northern 30 acres into three 10-acre lots, and then sell the lots. One 500 gallon above-ground storage tank of diesel fuel is located on the �. property. During the site visit Mr. Lang stated that it is refilled about every other year. Mr. Lang believes that the property was used for a dairy in the past 3.0 PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF CONTAMINATION 3.1 Research Methods t NOA employs a standard practice for review of database information. On a street map showing the L. location of the subject property, a circle is drawn one-quarter mile out from the property boundaries, and street maps or web-based mapping services are then used to determine address ranges for all streets L within the quarter mile.
