June 6,2005
NOA PROJECT NUMBER E05039A
Page 3
LIMITATIONS
This report was compiled as an Addendum to the Surface/Subsurface Contamination Report dated
March 31,2005 for the subject property.
It should be noted that when a surface/subsurface assessment is completed without sample
collection and quantitative analysis of soil and groundwater beneath the site, as in this study,no
statement of scientific certainty can be made regarding latent subsurface conditions which may be
the result of on-site or off-site sources. The findings and conclusions of this report are not scientific
certainties, but rather, probabilities based on professional judgement concerning the significance of
the data gathered during the course of this investigation. NOA is not able to represent that the site
or adjoining land contains no hazardous waste, oil, underground storage tanks,or other latent
condition beyond that detected or observed by NOA during the Surface/Subsurface assessment.
The possibility always exists for contaminants to migrate through surface water, air, or groundwater.
Our office has not been provided with specific criteria for the development of this Addendum other
than a request by the SJCEHD dated May 27, 2005 to reevaluate the property in question for
possible problems related to a 15-gallon drum containing used oil that may have resulted in surface
soil staining on the property.
NOA ENVIRONMENTAL
10,,ON MEry7
Prepared by: F9 eyas ASP& '" "'
P o
REA I-07383 p
C \
#, Expires:
Crystal purr rgre of cp`e
REA #1-07363
Reviewed by: `c>✓NRo►V.OIR0O0W'Na'749N7CWker,Jr. r
+'tftt
n b
a C
REA #1-00797 * Expires: 4 i
i ! i
,,yr►F
CALI
•T' n
