The United States Department of
Agricultural, Natural Resources Conservation Service, Web Soil Survey was searched for the
soil types located on the subject property. Plate A7.4ndicates soils are Manteca Fine Sandy
Loam.
Site Map
The site map showing the location of the soil borings are presented in Plate A8.
Description of Borehole Dimensions
A total of four boreholes where drilled at the site. Two of the boreholes where 42 inches
deep and 6.5 inches diameter. The two remaining boreholes where 10 feet deep and 7 inches
diameter.
Description of Soil Lithology
The soils encountered where similar to the soils described in the Soil Survey, The soils
encountered where fine Sandy Loam (SM — USCS) to a depth of approximately 42 inches. At
approximately 42 inches, hardpan was encountered. The hardpan thickness varies up to 8 inches.
The soils below the hardpan are fine Sandy Loam (SM).
Discussion of Soil Lithology
The sandy loam soils encountered indicates that the material may be suitable for a septic system.
However, a percolation test is an approved method for determining the type of system that may
be required for the site.
JR SQUARED CONSULTING,INC.
