Planning Division: <br /> a. The width of the aisle in front of the parking spaces <br /> shall be increased to 24 feet (per Section 9-3702 ) . <br /> b. The type and location of all proposed nighttime security <br /> lighting shall be shown on the Improvement Plan. Outdoor <br /> lighting shall be kept to a minimum while still providing <br /> adequate security. Lighting shall be hooded to prevent <br /> glare onto surrounding properties and roads and shall con- <br /> sist of wall mounted lights and/or free-standing lights <br /> with standards not to exceed 20 feet in height . <br /> c . Details of a landscaping and irrigation plan shall be <br /> shown on the Improvement Plan. As an alternative, three <br /> copies of a landscaping and irrigation plan shall be sub- <br /> mitted to the Planning Director for approval . Landscaping <br /> details shall include a key showing size, type , number, <br /> and spacing of all proposed plantings . Details of an <br /> automatic and timed sprinkler system shall be shown. The <br /> following landscaping requirements shall be included in <br /> the Improvement Plan: <br /> ( 1 ) The area between the parking spaces , maintenance <br /> building, and northern property boundary shall be <br /> landscaped with lawn or other similar groundcover at a <br /> minimum. <br /> ( 2 ) A combination of landscaping and berming shall be uti- <br /> lized along the northern and southern boundary of the <br /> project area to provide significant screening. <br /> ( 3) Additional landscaping shall be provided along the <br /> perimeter of the site. At a minimum, a five-foot-wide <br /> landscaped buffer shall be provided along the western <br /> boundary of the project area adjacent to the roadway. <br /> The landscaping in this area shall be required to meet <br /> the following standards: <br /> (A) Trees shall be spaced no further than 25 feet <br /> apart . Trees shall be a minimum one-inch caliper <br /> and 15-gallon size at the time of planting and <br /> shall be double staked. The tree type shall be <br /> selected from the County' s tree list . <br />
