Item No. 3 <br /> PC: 7-15-93 <br /> UP-93-2 <br /> Page 16 <br /> (6) All grading permits are subject to approval by the other departments. <br /> (7) All grading authorized by the permit shall be approved prior to issuance of any <br /> building permits or the beginning of any construction. <br /> C. The Construction Site Plan shall indicate the following: <br /> (1) Provide parking for the physically handicapped. The spaces shall be located as <br /> close as possible to the primary entrance <br /> (2) Provide identification signs for the parking spaces, including the 'tow away' sign, <br /> at each entrance or visible from each space. (CCR, Tale 24) <br /> (3) The slope of a parking space shall not exceed Y.-inch per foot. (CCR, Title 24) <br /> d. Fire apparatus access roads shall be required for new development constructed when <br /> any portion of an exterior wall of the first story is located more than 150 feet from the <br /> public access road. This road shall be constructed to meet or exceed standards <br /> published in Public Works design standards (UFC Section 10.203). The access road <br /> must be fully improved to these standards prior to any final inspections. <br /> e. The floor area of the repair shop (H-4 occupancy) shall be served by one or more floor <br /> drains that shall drain to an approved grease and oil separator. The separator shall have <br /> prior approval by Public Health Services (Environmental Health Division) before <br /> submission to this Division for permits, and it shall meet all the criteria for hazardous <br /> waste generation. <br /> f. The existing trailer and transfer pit shall be removed under permit and inspection by the <br /> Building Inspection Division prior to issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy for the office <br /> transfer building. <br /> g. The approved structures shall be designed in conformance with all applicable building <br /> codes to support the anticipated earthquake loads. If strong ground shaking occurs <br /> during construction, repairs shall be performed at the time of occurrence. <br /> 5. MANTECA-LATHROP FIRE DISTRICT: <br /> a An approved Fire Permit from the Manteca-Lathrop Fire District shall be required prior to <br /> the installation of the fuel dispensing system. <br /> b. All buildings shall be sprinklered in accordance with the requirements of the National Fire <br /> Protection Association (NFPA), Pamphlet 13. <br /> C. A pressurized water system with diesel back-up shall be provided in accordance with the <br /> requirements of the NFPA, Pamphlets 20 and 24. <br />
