(2) POTENTIALLY SIGNIFICANT IMPACT: EFFECTS ON PG&E SERVICE FACILITIES <br /> Relocation of the existing gas mains and transmission lines may be necessary <br /> and would be at the developer's expense. In addition, dedication of new public <br /> utility easements may also be necessary. The relocation of PG&E infrastructure <br /> and dedication of new utility easement areas should be considered as part of this <br /> project in order to ensure that the required facilities and easements are <br /> developed in a coordinated manner. <br /> Finding: <br /> Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the project <br /> which avoid or substantially lessen the significant environmental effect as <br /> identified in the Final EIR. The mitigation measure is listed below. <br /> Statement of Fact: <br /> The impact will be reduced by the following: <br /> Compliance with PG&E service requirements shall be as specified: <br /> • Relocation of PG&E facilities shall be at the developer's expense. <br /> • Dedicate public utility easements for gas and electrical services to the <br /> satisfaction of PG&E <br /> (3) POTENTIALLY SIGNIFICANT IMPACT: WATER USAGE <br /> Increased water demands and usage due to the expansion of the facility may <br /> adversely affect the area's groundwater quantity. <br /> Findings: <br /> Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the project <br /> which avoid or substantially lessen the significant environmental effect as <br /> identified in the Final EIR. <br /> Statement of Fact: <br /> The impact will be reduced by the following: <br /> All on-site access roads shall be paved so that water usage for dust control is <br /> minimized. <br /> A street sweeper shall be used for the cleaning of roads and paved areas. <br /> A water recycling system shall be utilized for truck and equipment washdowns. <br /> Landscaped areas shall utilize drought tolerant plants and use water efficient <br /> irrigation. <br /> Attachment A - 5 - UP-93-2 <br />
