Transfer trucks and rolloff boxes shall be cleaned periodically in the wash station.
Odor complaints shall be referred to the San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution
Control District for processing under Rule 4107.
D. SEISMICITY
(1) POTENTIALLY SIGNIFICANT IMPACT: SEISMIC GROUND SHAKING
There is a strong likelihood that the site will experience seismic ground shaking
during the life of the structure. The ground shaking will impose laterial shearing
forces on the planned structures. The structures will be more susceptible to the
effects of ground shaking during construction.
Findings:
Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the project
which avoid or substantially lessen the significant environmental effect as
identified in the Final EIR.
Statements of Fact:
The impact will be reduced by the following:
Design the structure in conformance with all applicable building codes to support
the anticipated earthquake loads. If strong ground shaking occurs during
construction, repairs may need to be performed at that time.
E. AIR QUALITY
(1) POTENTIALLY SIGNIFICANT IMPACT: CONSTRUCTION RELATED
PARTICULATES
The effects of construction activities would be increased dustfall and locally
elevated levels of PM-10 (particulate matter, 10 microns) downwind of
construction activity. Construction dust has the potential for creating a nuisance
at nearby properties.
Finding:
Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the project
which avoid or substantially lessen the significant environmental effect as
identified in the Final EIR. The mitigation measure is listed below.
Statement of Fact:
The impact will be reduced by the following:
Suspend earth-moving and grading activities during periods of high winds when
dust control measures are unable to avoid visible dust plumes.
Attachment A - 6 - UP-93-2
