UP-93-02 OF THE COUNTY OF <br /> SAN JOAQUIN (C/O SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF <br /> PUBLIC WORKS, SOLID WASTE DIVISION) <br /> ----------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> The request is a Use Permit application for the renovation and <br /> expansion of the existing Lovelace Transfer Station, including <br /> the construction of a 120, 00-square foot transfer building, a <br /> 9 , 000-square foot maintenance/office building, and a 288-square <br /> foot scale house. The project will increase the transfer <br /> station's capacity from an average of 350 tons of solid waste a <br /> day to 1, 300 tons a day. The project will also add a recycling <br /> component to the facility. The project site will be increased <br /> from its current five-acre size to fifteen acres. The subject <br /> parcel is proposed to be served by the following services: <br /> private well, individual septic system, and on-site storm <br /> drainage. The project site is located on the north side of <br /> Lovelace Road, 2240 feet west of Union Road, north of Manteca. <br /> The Development Services Division has reviewed the above- <br /> referenced application and developed a tentative recommendation <br /> of approval for the Planning Commission. A final recommendation <br /> will be developed after review of the Final Environmental Impact <br /> Report (EIR) , which is scheduled for submittal on June 28 , 1993 . <br /> This project has been tentatively scheduled for hearing by the <br /> Planning Commission on July 15, 1993 . At that hearing the <br /> Commission will be asked to certify the EIR as adequate and to <br /> take an action on the project. The following list of draft <br /> Conditions of Approval does not constitute a staff recommendation <br /> of approval, but rather an outline for discussion at the <br /> Development Committee meeting for this project on June 23 , 1993 . <br />
