The first phase will consist of a tent to be used as a temporary worship venue and a classroom building for a K-4 school, as well as other site improvements. The buildings will be attractive, and an asset to the community. In the second phase, a permanent worship hall will be built and the site improvements will be completed. The applicant has agreed to convey street frontage to the County for widening of Lower Sacramento Road. The applicant is prepared to accept the conditions of approval suggested by staff, although they ask that the Commission reconsider the issue of permitting left turn movements to access the property without the need to proceed to the next intersection to make a U-turn and return to the site. The fact is that most of the traffic that may be generated by the facility will not occur during am or pm peak hours. The project architect, ASHRAF EBRAHIM, AIA is present to answer questions as is IMAM MOHAMMAD ADIL to speak to the plans for use of the facility.
