PA-0700296 <br /> OF JOE AND SHEILA NEWFIELD (C/O DILLON &MURPHY) <br /> (FOURTH SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT) <br /> IT IS RECOMMENDED: <br /> That the Board of Supervisors: <br /> 1. Approve the Negative Declaration; <br /> 2. Adopt a Motion of Intent to approve General Plan Map Amendment No. <br /> PA-0700295, based on the ability to make the required "Basis for General Plan <br /> Map Amendment' (Attachment "A"); and <br /> 3. Adopt a Motion of Intent to approve Zone Reclassification No. PA-0700296, <br /> based on the ability to make the required "Bases for Zone Reclassification" <br /> (Attachment "A"). <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> The proposed project is a General Plan Map Amendment and Zone Reclassification to <br /> change the General Plan designation of a 0.52 acre parcel from R/M (Medium Density <br /> Residential) to C/C (Community Commercial) and to change the Zoning from R-M <br /> (Medium Density Residential)to C-C (Community Commercial). The project site is <br /> located on the east side of Lower Sacramento Road, north of Mokelumne Street, in <br /> Woodbridge. The proposed General Plan Map Amendment and Zone Reclassification <br /> are consistent with the development and locational criteria and infrastructure <br /> requirements of the General Plan. The applicant has indicated he is unsure what the <br /> underlying project will be if the General Plan Map Amendment and Zone <br /> Reclassification applications are approved by the Board of Supervisors. <br />
