-2-
REASON FOR RECOMMENDATION:
The Planning Commission considered this matter at its meeting of September 6, 2007.
Joe Newfield, the project applicant, spoke in favor of the project. No one spoke in
opposition. After considering all oral and written testimony, the Planning Commission
voted 5-0 to forward the General Plan Amendment and Zone Reclassification
applications to the Board of Supervisors with the above recommendations.
A legal ad for the public hearing was published in the Stockton Record on September 28,
2007.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no General Fund Impact as a result of this application.
ACTION TO BE TAKEN FOLLOWING APPROVAL:
None. If the Board of Supervisors adopts the above motions it will be asked to approve
the applications, at a subsequent hearing, as part of the Fourth Cycle General Plan
Amendment.
Sincerely,
rr
"
KERRY SULLIVAN
DIRECTOR
KS:MH:ss
DEVSVCS/PA-0700295&PA-0700296(BOS)
Enc.: Attachment "A".
