The monthly average dry weather discharge flow shall not exceed the capacity of the land <br /> application area it is discharged to. Provision F.3a requires preparation of an Operation and <br /> Wastewater Management Plan which evaluates the wastewater storage and application <br /> capacities. <br /> 7. Objectionable odors originating at this facility shall not be perceivable beyond the limits of <br /> the property owned by the Discharger. <br /> 8. Wastewater discharged to the land application area shall not have a pH less than 6.5 or greater <br /> than 8.5. <br /> 9. Only domestic wastewater shall be discharged to the domestic wastewater system; only <br /> winery wastewater shall be discharged to the winery wastewater treatment system. <br /> 10. Public contact with wastewater shall be precluded through such means as fences, signs, and <br /> other acceptable alternatives. <br /> 11. The land application area shall have sufficient capacity to accommodate wastewater flow and <br /> seasonal precipitation during the rainy season. Design seasonal precipitation shall be based on <br /> total annual precipitation using a return period of 100 years, distributed monthly in accordance <br /> with historical rainfall patterns. <br /> 12. Domestic wastewater septic tanks and leachlines shall not be located within 100 feet of a <br /> public well or within 50 feet of a private well. <br /> C. Reclamation Requirements: <br /> 1. Discharge of reclaimed water shall be performed in agronomic rates consistent with good <br /> agricultural practices. <br /> 2. The use of reclaimed water shall be limited to surface irrigation of orchards, <br /> vineyards, and fodder, fiber, and seed crops and shall comply with the Department of <br /> Health Services' guidelines for the use of reclaimed water. All tailwater must be <br /> returned to the pond. <br /> 3. Reclamation water shall remain within the approved reclamation areas at all times. <br /> Reclaimed water shall be managed to prevent runoff onto adjacent properties not <br /> owned or controlled by the Discharger. <br /> C:�Projen_t�m�SrtcWa�ky Wv�1Housky_Efl WDR.doc <br />
