The use of reclaimed water must not cause a nuisance or pollution as defined by the <br /> California Water Code, Section 13050. <br /> 5. There shall be no irrigation or impoundment of reclaimed water within 50 feet of any <br /> irrigation well or within 100 feet of any domestic well. <br /> 6. Supplementing reclaimed water by connection with a domestic drinking water source <br /> or an irrigation or industrial well requires an air gap device or backflow prevention <br /> device that complies with Title 17, California Code of Regulations, Section 7583, et <br /> seq. <br /> 7. The perimeter of the reclamation area shall be graded to prevent ponding along public <br /> roads or other public areas. <br /> 8. Areas irrigated with reclaimed water shall be managed so as to prevent breeding of <br /> mosquitoes. More specifically, <br /> a. Tailwater must be returned and all irrigation water must infiltrate completely within 48 <br /> hours. <br /> b. Ditches must be maintained free of emergent, marginal, and floating vegetation. <br /> c. Low pressure and unpressurized pipelines and ditches accessible to mosquitoes shall not <br /> be used to store reclaimed waters. <br /> D. Sludge Disposal: <br /> 1. Collected screenings, sludges, and other solids removed from liquid wastes shall be disposed <br /> of in a manner that is consistent with Title 27,Division 2, Subdivision I of the CCR and <br /> approved by the Executive Officer. <br /> 2. Any proposed change in sludge disposal from a previously approved practice (as described in <br /> these WDRs) shall be reported to this office at least 90 days in advance of the change. <br /> 3. Septic tank cleanings and monitoring shall be performed only by a duly authorized service. <br /> 4. If the State Water Resources Control Board and the Regional Water Resources Control Board <br /> are given the authority to implement regulations contained in 40 CFR 503, this Order may be <br /> reopened to incorporate appropriate time schedules and technical standards. The Discharger <br /> shall comply with the standards and time schedules contained in 40 CFR 503 whether or not <br /> they have been incorporated into this Order. <br /> E. Groundwater Limitations: <br /> The discharge, in combination with other sources, shall not cause underlying groundwater to <br /> contain waste constituents in concentrations statistically greater than background water quality, <br /> except for coliform.
