The applicant may be required to provide additional <br /> security to ensure maintenance of said trees for an ensuing three (3) year <br /> maintenance period (Development Title Section 9-1505.4[e]). <br /> To protect and preserve heritage oak trees and native oak trees from development <br /> and construction activity the following recommended conditions of approval have <br /> been prepared. <br /> TREE PRESERVATION: The subdivision improvement plan shall indicate whether or not the tree <br /> will be removed. If the tree is to be removed, the method of replacement shall be described, <br /> consistent with Section 9-1504.4 of the Development Title. If the tree is to remain, development <br /> constraints shall be noted on the subdivision plans, consistent with Section 1505.5 of the <br /> Development Title. <br /> 3 <br />
