Parking Development Title Table 9-1015.3(a) states that for a large group care facility, 0.33 parking spaces must be provided for each bed. The applicant has proposed a 16-bed facility. This will require that 5 parking spaces be provided for the project, including one van accessible parking space. The parking area shall be surfaced and permanently maintained with asphalt concrete or Portland cement concrete to provide a durable dust free surface. (Development Title Section 9-1015.5(e]) Next Step When the applicant is ready to submit a full application for a Use Permit, it will be necessary to do the following: • Submit seven copies of a completed Use Permit application form. • Submit seven copies (18" x 26") of the site plan and two reduced copies (8 '/2" x 11") of the site plan. • Submit a copy of the Hazardous Materials Disclosure Survey form. • Submit a copy of the recorded deed(s) of the property. • Submit the remaining portion of the Use Permit application fee. • Indicate the number of residents of the care home on the application. • Show the location of the parking area on the Site Plan. • Show the location of the access driveway on the Site Plan. NOTE: The pre-application conference is designed to inform prospective applicants of General Plan consistency, zoning consistency, public improvement requirements, preliminary design constraints and opportunities, and major environmental and safety issues. This information is provided in the hope of assisting the applicant in submitting a better and more complete application, as well as minimizing processing time. It is not intended to be an in-depth analysis, and an environmental assessment is not completed. The applicant should be aware that a detailed review will not be done until the full application is submitted.
