L
LFebruary 1,2006
NOA Project Number: E05176A
L
3.5 Current Off-Site Sources of Contamination
LNo above-or below-ground potential or known sources of contamination were identified from current
uses of the surrounding properties, except for the following-
-
ollowing• Small amounts of domestic trash and construction debris, were observed adjacent to the
property.
L4.0 EVALUATION OF IDENTIFIED CONTAMINATION SOURCES
L The current amount of trash and debris observed on and adjacent to the property does not appear to
pose an environmental threat to the property.
` The possible domestic well appears to be currently not in use. If left in place,a domestic well may be
a conduit for near surface contamination to enter the drinking water aquifer.
L 5.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
L As the site is developed, any stained soil or sources of contamination identified, including those
described in Section 3.3, should be characterized and properly disposed in accordance with federal,
state,and local regulations.
LAny wells or septic systems identified during the site development process should be properly •
` abandoned under EHD oversight.
L
6.0 LIMITATIONS
LThis report was compiled as a Surface/Subsurface Contamination Report for the subject property. This
report contains information and data provided to NOA by several sources. NOA in no way warrants
L the accuracy or completeness of the information provided to this investigation by those sources.
Ff•2S.f-5S
It should be noted that when a surface/subsurface assessment is completed without sample collection
L and quantitative analysis of soil and groundwater beneath the site, as in this study, no statement of
scientific certainty can be made regarding latent subsurface conditions which may be the result of on-site
or off-site sources. The findings and conclusions of this report are not scientific certainties, but rather,
L probabilities based on professional judgement concerning the significance of the data gathered during
the course of this investigation. NOA is not able to represent that the site or adjoining land contains
no hazardous waste, oil, underground storage tanks,or other latent condition beyond that detected or
Lobserved by NOA during the Surface/Subsurface assessment. The possibility always exists for
L11
L
