Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> A. A soil suitability study/nitrate loading study indicating that the area is suitable for septic tank <br /> usage must be performed prior to issuance of building permit as required by Section 9- <br /> 1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development Title. A nitrate loading study is required <br /> and a review fee of$ 435.00 must be paid at time of submittal to Environmental Health <br /> Division. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$87.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> NOTE: Environmental Health Division has recently received information relating to elevated <br /> levels of nitrates in the groundwater adjacent to this project area. Based on that <br /> information and the results of this study, a package wastewater treatment system for <br /> sewage disposal may be required for this project. <br /> B. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical dibromochloropropane <br /> (DBCP) and nitrates prior to issuance of building permits. Samples are to be taken and <br /> analyzed by a State-approved laboratory.
