INTRODUCTION <br /> our office has been retained by Norma Norton to perform a soil <br /> suitability study for her property located at 30327 Highway 120, <br /> Escalon, California (APN 229-170-21) . The purpose of this study is <br /> to determine the suitability of the property for septic tank usage <br /> in light `of the proposed development. This study was performed <br /> according to the requirements of Section 9-1105.2(d) of San Joaquin <br /> County Development Title. This report presents the results of our <br /> study. <br /> II. PROPOSED DEVELOPM]M <br /> The area where the property is located is currently zoned AL- <br /> 10, for rural homesites and general agricultural use. The subject <br /> property consist of a square shaped 40 acre parcel located on the <br /> northwest corner of State Highway 120 and Enterprise Rd. , Escalon, <br /> California. It is proposed to divide the property into 4 -- 10 acre <br /> parcels (Parcels 1, 2, 3 and 4, see the attached Parcel Map, Plate <br /> No. 1) . The proposed parcel 4 has an existing house on it. The <br /> remaining parcels will have homesites on them located at the east <br /> ends, along Enterprise Rd. <br /> III. PRESENT AND PAST USE OF THE SITE <br /> The subject property is currently planted in grain. Three <br /> years ago a 30 year old almond orchard was removed. Prior to that <br /> the property was used for general agricultural purposes. <br />
