5 . 5 Noise The site lies about 1300 feet East of Interstate 5 and 400 feet South of the State Route 120 freeway . Both Routes carry high volumes of traffic which carries a noise level on the project site which will not be exceeded in the proposed operation . The Union Pacific Railroad operates a railline 800 feet to the south, and another line north of Highway 120 with both creating occasional noise levels which will not be exceeded by the proposed operation . Accordingly, impacts from noise will be insignificant . 5 . 6 Traffic and Transportation Pre-screened run-of-mine product will be loaded and removed to an off site pre-processing facility . It is anticipated that up to 160 truck trips in (and an equal number out) every weekday will be required to haul the production . Traffic will exit the property and travel via Madruga Road (Highway 120 service road) to the Highway 120 onramp, thence west to Interstate 5 . It is anticipated that the majority of the quarry product will be directed south on US I5 . Current truck traffic on Highway 120 is 8, 912 daily, and on I -5 27, 983 per Cal -Trans 1994 Report . An addition of 160 trips per day to such a daily volume of traffic is a less than significant increase . 5 . 7 Cultural Resources There are no known cultural resources on the site: Therefore impacts on the proposed project are less than insignificant . Any cultural resources , which may be discovered during the excavation of the quarry, will be recorded and managed in accordance with County Community Development Department requirements . It is estimated that in the event of a discovery, mitigation will likely be limited to recording and documentation . Areas containing cultural resources will not be disturbed by any quarry activities until the cultural resources are mitigated to the satisfaction of the County Community Development Department .
