November 14, 2008 <br /> SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> SCANNAVINO PROPERTY <br /> 3650 NORTH OVERHISER RD <br /> STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA <br /> OUR PROJECT NUMBER: LGS080544 <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> Our office was contracted by Josh Elson of Baumbach & Piazza, Inc. to conduct a Soil Suitability <br /> Study for the property at 3650 North Overhiser Rd, Stockton, California (the "Site'. <br /> The Soil Suitability Study (SSS) was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for <br /> use with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of Section <br /> 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development code. A major element of the field work <br /> included conducting percolation tests that meet the required absorption rates as required by <br /> San Joaquin County, Public Health Services, Environmental Health Department (EHD). <br /> In addition to conducting the percolation tests, a review of published soil information, geologic <br /> maps, and groundwater information was performed to evaluate the suitability of soils for uses <br /> with a septic system. <br /> The formatting of this report has been designed to follow, to the greatest degree possible, the <br /> EHD's Soil Suitability Study Requirements Checklist, dated July 14, 2003. <br /> 1.1 Site Description <br /> The Assessor's Parcel er (APN) for the Site 087-05416._ a parcel is approximately 52 <br /> acres in size (Plate 1 . The county application humberTs currently pending. A residence exl's s <br /> on the property and the remainder of the property is used for agriculture. <br /> The elevation of the Site, according to a United States Geological Survey Topographic Map, is <br /> between approximately 35 and 40 feet above mean sea level. The land grades up to the west. <br /> According to the San Joaquin County Community D�nt Department <br /> (http://www.co.san-joaquin.ca.us), the subject property is zoned AG-20, neral agriculture <br /> with a minimum parcel size of 20 acres.
